I recently re watched The Emperor's New Clothes.
Directed by Alan Taylor, the film tells a tall tale. Napoleon returns to France to become emperor again but the plot goes horrible wrong.
He ends up living as a commoner and turning around a street business. He does this by using all his military skills.
The film stars Ian Holm and he very watchable.
From a political point of view what is interesting is that it shows what might happen to dictators without a state to dictate to.
Someone inclined to tell people what to do would simply organise something else. The difference though is that they wouldn't be able to control people's lives or end them.
