Trevor Kavanagh reports today on the views of Phil Collins a former speech writer to Tony Blair.
According to Kavanagh, Collins says that the party he is a member of is full of "bullies" who are driven by a "torrent of bitter rages".
As Kavanagh remarks, this challenges the perception that the Tories are the nasty party. He also has a dig at the Lib Dems.
Kavanagh is a long time supporter of the Conservatives but for Collins to apparently say that the Tories are rather nice compared to his colleagues is damning stuff.
